Easter

W.A.L.T : understand passing on messages is important so we understand why we celebrate.

My Reflection

I was able to search up Easter facts and write it in my own words with Ella and Mini.

Next time I will add more facts about Easter in my slide show.

A-Z celebrations

W.A.L.T: understand that people celebrate in different ways.

My Reflection
I was able to go on the internet and get some celebration dances and put them in my slideshow and get some images and videos to diatribe what i choose and my group did.

I found this just a little bit hard because we had to find dance celebrations that start with letters like a n c d.

Next time I  will  make sure to get better dance celebrations that start with letters and make sure to finish it in time.

Matariki Celebration - Phases of the Moon

Walt : accurately identify and organise the phases of the moon.

My Reflection

I was able to but them in order because I learnt about Phases of the moon with my class room I learnt that they are different all over the world.

Next time I will look up at the moon every night at see the difference every day.

Around the world birthday celebrations

Walt : identify and understand the different ways that birthdays are celebrated around the world.

I was able to get some ideas really Quickly because i am half cook island and i have some experiences.

It was tricky to fall asleep because there was to much noise.
But the next day I was allot better better because when we went into the dorms ever one said goodnight and then they all feel asleep.

We have bein learning to do strokes in the pool.I think that i did good, but i think that i can do better if i have more practise. like still have our days on Friday and Wednesday but on Friday we don't really go on Friday's cause i need to practise on my breathing with my head above the water only a little not butting my head up.i think that i in proved that i did good at my arms of making them long and stretched.

                             I had to dig holes and but plants in.
                             I though it was tricky to dig the hole.
                             My next step is to  work with someone that is strong so it won't be so hard.

My Reflection

This is my kaitiaki art. This god is Tangaroa, the God of the Sea.   

My Pepeha

This is my pepeha.  I have been learning to introduce myself in Māori.  We also created an art piece to show our pepeha. 

Learning to draw a giraffe and blend using pastels.

My favourite part was sketching my giraffe in my sketchbook. I am proud of how I tried my best when I was drawing my giraffe.
